Two people. One standard. Eighteen years.
MIR Homes is Branka and Edmir Dzolota — a husband-and-wife team who have been building in the Des Moines metro since 2007. Not a franchise, not a volume builder with a sales office: two people whose names are on every contract, every job site, and every five-star review.
The division of labor is the one clients notice first. Branka owns the vision — design direction, finishes, and the daily communication clients consistently rave about. Edmir owns the execution — the trades, the schedule, and the build quality that still looks right decades later. Staying small was a decision, not a limitation. In 2026, after nearly two decades of custom builds, MIR brought that same standard to luxury remodeling — because the families asking weren’t looking for a contractor, they were looking for MIR.
